I didn’t grow up in a calm home, so creating one became something I had to learn. What began as small changes inside my house eventually became the standard I chose to build around.
Hi, I'm Blaire
I’m the founder of Simply Whiskers and a certified dog and cat groomer with training in clinical aromatherapy. After years observing how environments affect pets and living closely with my own dogs, I started thinking about scent differently. That understanding guides every decision at Simply Whiskers, from how our scents are developed to how we think about daily life at home.
What Mochi Taught Me
Mochi reacts quickly to changes in our home. Extra noise or stimulation affects him almost immediately. Living with him taught me to look beyond behavior and pay attention to what was happening around him.
What Milo Made Me Notice
Milo is the opposite. He does not always react right away. Sometimes he seems fine at first, and later I’ll notice him becoming more withdrawn. He taught me that a home can affect pets quietly too, not only in the moments that are obvious.
Built for Shared Air
Many candle brands compete on scent strength, but I wanted candles made for the way I actually live with my dogs. Because pets experience so much of their world through scent, I wanted fragrance that filled the room without overpowering it. Noticeable enough to make the room smell good, but still gentle enough to make sense in a home with pets.
