We weren’t searching for a business idea. We were trying to make our home feel calmer and safer to live in. What started as a personal need eventually became Simply Whiskers, built around simplicity and real everyday support for people and their pets.
Blaire grew up in an unpredictable, high stress environment and it shaped the way her body responded to everyday life. By adulthood, persistent fatigue, body aches and unexplained health struggles pushed her to rethink how she was living.
Mochi came into Blaire’s life as a high energy pup who noticed everything before she did. From the beginning, he reacted to every sound and movement happening inside or outside the home. He was the dog who made her pay closer attention to the environment they were living in.
Milo was brought home a year later and he was the complete opposite. He was gentle, cautious, and needed a sense of safety before warming up to anything new. Loud noises and unfamiliarity overwhelmed him. His sensitivity showed Blaire how much a calm, predictable home can shape a dog’s sense of comfort.
